I am working with parallel RAS and suddenly Session gets disconnected and when again i try to reconnect it but unable to connect disconnected sessions even though session persistence is enabled in Parallels RAS. Please suggest some solutions to resolve this problem.
Ah, that’s frustrating. If session persistence is enabled but you’re still unable to reconnect, there might be a few things to check. First, make sure the session timeout settings are configured properly. Sometimes, if the session timeout is too short, it can disconnect the session prematurely.
Hmm, I’ll check the session timeout settings. What about the server side? Could there be anything affecting reconnections from there?
Definitely. You should check if there are any server-side issues like resource exhaustion or service crashes. Sometimes, the RAS server may fail to handle reconnections due to heavy load or network instability. It might help to monitor the server’s CPU and memory usage during these disconnects to see if anything spikes.
Okay, I’ll keep an eye on the server’s performance. Could there also be an issue with how Parallels is handling session persistence itself?
Yes, it’s possible. If there’s an issue with the session persistence database or the session data being corrupted, it could prevent the server from properly associating a new connection with the existing session. You might want to try restarting the RAS services to see if that resolves the issue.
