Hi! It seems like you’re referring to a setting for opening applications in a new tab. In Parallels RAS, apps typically open in the same tab by default.
However, there is a setting to change this behavior, but it might be a bit tricky to configure. Let me explain how to adjust it.
Okay, thanks! So there is a setting to open apps in new tabs? Where can I find it? I’ve searched around but haven’t been able to locate it.
Yes, there is! You’ll need to check the RAS Web Access settings. In the Parallels RAS Console, go to the RAS Web Access configuration. There, you should find an option for Session Settings or Window Management.
Make sure you enable the setting for Opening Applications in New Tabs. This should allow users to launch apps in separate tabs, instead of the same one.
Ah, that sounds like what I need! I’ll check the Web Access settings for that option. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
No problem! Once you enable that setting, it should work as expected. If you have any more issues, feel free to reach out.
