Hii All,
I need your help as i want to check current load on my Parallel Remote Application Server (RAS) to determine if performance degradation is due to resource exhaustion or not. Please help me out.
Hey! You can start by looking at the resource usage on the server itself—CPU, memory, and disk usage. You can monitor these through the RAS management console or check the Task Manager if you’re directly on the server.
Right! I was thinking of checking that, but I wasn’t sure if there’s a specific way to get detailed insights from the RAS console. Does it show resource utilization stats?
Yes, the RAS management console does provide some monitoring features. Under the “Performance” or “Statistics” sections, you should be able to see real-time data on CPU, memory, and session counts. That should give you an idea of whether the load is spiking and causing issues.
Also, it’s a good idea to check if there are any specific processes hogging resources. Sometimes, certain apps or sessions consume too much memory or CPU, which can lead to performance drops.
