How can i verify licenses of Parallel RAS

Hii guys, need help to check if the Parallel RAS server’s licenses are correctly configured and are valid? Could there be any licensing issues affecting user access?

Yeah, definitely. Licensing issues can sometimes cause problems with user access. First thing you’ll want to do is log into the Parallel RAS management console and check the license status there. It should show whether the licenses are active and how many users are currently covered.

I’ve already checked the management console. It looks like the licenses are listed, but I’m not sure if they’re actually active or if there’s a mismatch between the user count and the available licenses.

Good point. You’ll want to double-check the number of users being served by the RAS server. Sometimes, if the server exceeds the license limit, it can cause users to be denied access. If there’s any discrepancy, that could be why some users are having trouble connecting.

Got it. So, if the licenses are valid, but the user count is too high, what should I do? Is there a way to update or expand the license?

If you’re hitting the user limit, you’ll need to either upgrade your license or purchase additional user licenses. You can do that through the licensing portal or by contacting Parallel support to ensure you’re in compliance and have enough capacity for the users.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll make sure to check the user count and verify if any limits are being exceeded. What if everything looks good in the console, but users are still having issues?

If the licenses are all good and you’re still seeing issues, it might be worth looking at the RAS server logs to check for any errors related to licensing or connections. Sometimes, license validation can fail due to network issues or server misconfigurations.

OK. I’ll look at the logs and see if any errors pop up. Hopefully, that’ll give me a better idea of what’s going wrong.
