hii guys i am here with a Query and i hope you guys will help me out to solve this query,
The query is i am not able to connect my Remote Application Server RAS and i think my firewall setting are blocking incoming or outgoing connection of Parallel RAS so how do i Verify Parallel Ras (Remote Application Server) connectivity.
When you’re having trouble with connectivity, it’s always a good idea to check your firewall settings first. Let’s walk through some steps to help you verify the Parallels RAS connectivity.
I’m hoping it’s just a small configuration issue!
Alright, first things first, you want to make sure that the correct ports are open on your firewall. Parallels RAS uses specific ports for communication, and if they’re blocked, it can definitely cause connection issues. Some of the main ports you need to check are:
- TCP port 80 (HTTP)
- TCP port 443 (HTTPS)
- UDP port 3389 (for RDP)
- TCP port 3128 (RAS Gateway)
Make sure those ports are open on both your firewall and any intermediate routers or network devices between the client and the server.
